Sermans Consult is an Independent; legally registered Ghanaian consulting firm which was established in 1996. It is, a multi-disciplinary group which has extensive experience in Project feasibility studies, Design, Construction and Management, especially in Ghana and Togo. It has designed and supervised the construction of a considerable number of projects with varying size, complexity and value, including remodelling and rehabilitation works. Sermans Consult has a range of clients, Private, Public, Government and Diplomatic institutions. Additionally, it has offered consultancy services which have been promoted and sponsored by the WORLD BANK, MIDA, CCC, ALCO, DFID. IDA, GTZ, GOG and USAID.
Although larger projects are often a focus of attention, we continue to work within a range of scales and types of work starting from something as small as a bird nest or beehive. We work with various types of cultural, science and commercial work from smaller scales to as large as urban master planning. We have designed and built tables, chairs, paving and new environmentally sensitive materials for use in construction. Our product, graphic and digital design teams regularly receive acclaim and push the envelope of how to positively transform the world around us through their work.
From the beginning, our approach has been framed by environmental and cultural sensitivity. When we began the studio, the Brundtland Commission’s UN report on sustainability, Throughout the years, we continue to promote design as a positive force in the world. Today, we also connect habitat for humans and non-humans alike with other considerations of sustainable materials, positive energy and water resource management, carbon and emissions control, and control of waste. This is further empowered by positive workplace guidelines for healthy labor practice in construction and throughout the design process.
Sermans Consult offers consultancy services in Project Feasibility, Inventory, Planning, Architecture, Transportation, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, Geodetic, Geotechnical, and Water Engineering, as well as Valuation, Quantity Surveying and Management Consultancy Sermans Consult is a registered consultancy firm, practicing in Accra. It provides a complete range of Architectural, Engineering and Surveying Services from Preliminary and Economic survey, through Feasibility Studies, Planning and Design to Supervision of Construction works and Project Management. The Company’s approach has always been client oriented. Each project is headed by a project manager who deals directly with the client throughout all phases of the work so, as to ensure thorough and complete satisfaction of client’s requirements.
The firm is a consultancy firm which is independent of any commercial or individual concern in, or, outside Ghana. The key staff, are also members of the various professional associations, and therefore conforms to the rules and practices of these associations.
Sermans Consult, a multidisciplinary consulting group has employed and retained permanent as well as part-time Professionals and Technicians in the Construction industry. These personnel can be placed in three categories and these are as follows:-
- Directors – These are the Team leaders who administer projects under Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying and Development Management.
- Staff – These are made up of various Professionals, Technical men and Supporting staff.
- Specialist Consultants – These are specialist Consultants who are employed for specific projects, as and when they are required.
